The first step is to sign in to your e-mail account and click on the “Compose” button which you normally use when you need to type an e-mail. Fill the “To” field with the fax number to which you need to send the fax, followed by the domain name given by your service provider. For example, if 777-666-555 is the fax number you need to send the fax to and @faxxx.com is the domain name, you send the fax to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you don’t know what your domain name is, check your welcome mail or contact your service provider by clicking on the “help” button or reaching them out through their helpline number.
Whatever you need to type in the cover page of the fax should be typed in the “Subject” or “Message” field of the e-mail. Now attach whatever you need to fax in the form of a digital file like a PDF. Different service providers let you use different types of files according to their packages; choose the most suitable one according to your budget and needs. You can either upload these files from your system or directly use them from Google Drive if you’re using Gmail.
Now you just need to click on the “Send” option and you will be notified within seconds if your message is successfully sent or not. The mail will be sent again and again is there’s an error for a couple of times and if it’s still not sent, you can reach out to the service provider.
